Modulo

This function provides the symmetric modulo operator. The symmetric modulo operator returns the remainder of the integer division. ( $mod(x, y) = x - y * int (x / y)$, where $int$ refers to the truncation of the decimal digits)

Syntax: $UF=mod( UF_1, UF_2 )$

Examples:

• $fun(x, mod( -12.3, 3 ), Obj)$; the evalued value is $-0.3$
• $fun(x, mod( 6.5, 0.5 ), Obj)$; the evalued value is $0$
• $fun(x, mod( -4.687, -3 ), Obj)$; the evalued value is $-1.687$
